September is right around the corner and so is the Travel Adventure Cinema Society’s Convention & Film Previews. We are again holding our event in Chicago, generic Barbital, Barbital pictures, Sunday and Monday, September 11-12.

My husband George and I, with a committee and as volunteers, run a Travel Adventure Film Series for a Kiwanis Club in Jackson, Michigan. It’s a lot of work, 10 months of the year. Do we think it is worth the effort? A resounding “Yes.”

Some examples that have worked:

1. The idea for sponsorships. (Ours covers the cost for the film artists for each show.)
