Another one of our great old travel film artists has left us. Raphael “Ray” Green died peacefully at age 97 on July 6 at his home in DeKalb, Illinois.

Our Travel Films in 3-D?

Hollywood will have 40 features in 3-D in the works over the next three years, including James Cameron’s anticipated sci-fi adventure Avatar—coming in December. Couldn’t 3-D Travel Films give a great boost to our own industry?

30 Years On the Road …And 30 More?

In 1978, an estimated 1,000 or more travel film venues were spread across the United States and Canada. They flourished in theaters, performing arts centers, schools, geographic societies, universities, colleges, service and women’s clubs.
