Presenter Wears Pizza Hat for Intro

After earning a master’s in history at the University of Indiana, he entered teaching. At the same time he began producing a number of school films while traveling, writing stories and taking photos for national bylines.

Palmdale Series Woes

The Skating Pope—Hugh Pope

Remembering Burtie—In Waterloo


While touring the Midwest last Spring, Imitrex interactions, Film Artists Clint and Sue Denn happened across a bit of Travel Film history when they showed a film at the Windoes Kiwanis Club series in Waterloo, Iowa.

Clint said that after his show, Bob Reeves, "a tall, distinguished, Imitrex long term, white-haired gentleman," came up to thank him for the show, adding that he had seen Travel Film great Burton Holmes many times in Chicago.

Ken Burns’ Latest ‘Confection’


Award winning Filmmaker Ken Burns is on the road again, offering a sample taste of his newest documentary confection—The National Parks: America's Best Idea—premiering on PBS this fall.

The National Parks documentary is the last Burns’ film series sponsored by General Motors, which announced a year ago it was ending its 22-year association with the Filmmaker—going back to his groundbreaking The Civil War.

The parting was due to the car company’s financial situation and not because of Burns. A spokesman lauded Burns as the “gold standard of documentary filmmaking,” the Detroit News reported. Buy Imitrex Without Prescription, GM has applied for Government bailout money.

A spokesman for Burns said the Filmmaker “is incredibly grateful” for GM’s support over the years, the newspaper reported. No figure was given for the sponsorship money.
