Another one of our great old travel film artists has left us. Raphael “Ray” Green died peacefully at age 97 on July 6 at his home in DeKalb, Illinois.

The Filming of An Unlikely Weapon
Photographer Eddie Adams took this iconic photo in Vietnam. It took only 1/500th of a second to get the shot, but a lifetime to forget it, as Filmmaker Susan Morgan Cooper relates in her documentary on Eddie’s life, An Unlikely Weapon.
