The Travel Adventure Cinema Society returns to century-old roots Sept. 12-14 when it showcases its travel film talent in Chicago, the home place of the legendary Burton Holmes who premiered one the world’s first travel films there in 1897.

Hollywood will have 40 features in 3-D in the works over the next three years, including James Cameron’s anticipated sci-fi adventure Avatar—coming in December. Couldn’t 3-D Travel Films give a great boost to our own industry?
