Our adventure begins in Rome—the Vatican, the Coliseum, the fountains, a gelato treat, then on to Assisi. Florence is next. The bells of Santa Croce, the Golden Doors and Michelangelo’s David in the Academy of Fine Arts. Later, we pause in Pisa to look at the tower which started leaning in 1350.
